Ireland

Ireland is where I was born and where most of my books are set. My characters often travel from the country, some of them even live overseas, but for all of them, Ireland is home.

In the Gallery you can see photos of some of the locations and settings of my books but this section is just to let you know a little more about Ireland itself.

We’ve had a dollop of bad press over the last while, what with the whole financial meltdown/property bubble/IMF-EU bailout scenario, and many of us feel bruised by the experience. Let’s face it, the majority of people here were never multi-million euro property moguls. Most of us just wanted to have a job and  own our own house.

Although we’re angry at politicians and financiers, we love our country and that’s why I want to share the good parts with you – through my writing and through any other bits of interesting information I can give you. So I’ll be adding to this section whenever I find anywhere or anything exciting or interesting for you to do in Ireland! If you’ve any questions you want to ask me about holidaying in Ireland, add a comment below and I’ll try to point you in the right direction! For a start you can check out some of the links below. Start with Clontarf, though, because that's where I live and where occasionally I locate my books. (The one that is totally set in Clontarf is How Will I Know?)
